Good to know...

-
Entry to the Festival is free.
-
The Festival venue is the Tithe Barn, Lower Street Sproughton (map at foot of page).
-
Think carefully about driving to the Festival. Do not drink and drive. Have a designated driver in your party. There is no parking on-site, and only limited on-street parking nearby. Please leave residents' driveways clear at all times, and leave quietly if after dark.
-
To buy beer, other alcohol or food at our festival you'll first need to buy a festival beer voucher for £10 with cash or card from our friendly voucher sellers. Full details below.
-
Hot food is available during the festival. Pay for your hot food with your beer voucher.
-
We'll have seating and tables in the barn itself and outside in the rear courtyard.
-
Our Festival is a family event. Children under 18 years of age are welcome to accompany you but they must not buy or consume alcohol, or approach the bars. There are plenty of alternative soft drinks and snacks for children to buy in our tuck shop.
-
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but please come prepared to clean up after your dog.
-
Limited edition commemorative festival glasses will be available to purchase at £3 each. Click here for an image. All proceeds from the sale of these glasses will go to St Elizabeth Hospice, Ipswich.
-
All our festival staff are volunteers. They will do their best to provide a friendly, professional service. Please be patient, especially at peak times, and treat them with the respect they deserve for giving up their time for free to serve you. Abusive or threatening behaviour towards any of our volunteers or other patrons will not be tolerated.
-
Please respect our neighbours and refrain from overflowing onto their gardens or driveways.

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BEER VOUCHERS:
For your safety & security and to speed up service, no cash or card payments can be taken over the bar or at the BBQ. Patrons must first buy a £10 voucher to use for payment at the bar and BBQ for beer, other alcohol and food. Our voucher sellers will be easy to find as you enter the Tithe Barn. Vouchers can be bought by cash or card - however, we much prefer contactless payments. Part-used vouchers can be refunded, or you can choose to donate your "change" to our festival charity, St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich.
Please support our Festival sponsors. Their generosity enables us to offer free entry to our Festival. It also helps to keep our prices down and means we can give more to worthy causes from our proceeds.
Sproughton Beer Festival is a not-for-profit community enterprise organised on behalf of, and supported by, Sproughton Parish Council. All proceeds after expenses will be used to secure next year's festival and thereafter distributed as grants to enhance and enrich our community.
Same again? Don't mind if I do...
Thanks for supporting us!
See you again on 11th and 12th May 2024

Challenge 25
We will be operating a strict "Challenge 25" policy at our Festival. This means that if you are lucky enough to look under 25, you will be asked for proof of your age when buying or consuming alcohol. To find out more about how this may affect you, click here.
